July 12, 1976 Dad found six six-axle L&N units on the point of a mixed freight departing the Corbin, KY yard. The units are SD40-2 3572, U25C 1505, C628 1409, U28C 1530, SD40-2 1276 & SD40 1227.

Description:
Sometime in the early Fall of 1972 Dad shot this southbound fast freight at Eton, Georgia. On point is L&N SD40 1255 (to SBD 1255, to SBD 8331, to EMDX 6503) trailed by what appears to be 3 U25Cs. The photo was originally shot on an old box-style camera, then Dad later had a 35mm slide reproduced of the shot.
